Delete your account

You can permanently delete your SharkPark account and the personal information associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the SharkPark app on your phone.
  2. Sign in if you aren’t already.
  3. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deletion completes within a few minutes. You will be signed out of all devices, and your account, favorites, push tokens, and incident reports will be removed.

Option 2 — Email us

If you cannot access the app, email security@sharkpark.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify the request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record and profile.
  • Your favorite lots and notification preferences.
  • Your push notification tokens.
  • Any incident reports you submitted that are linked to your account.

What is retained

  • Aggregated, anonymous occupancy data. The hashed geofence events your device contributed cannot be linked back to you, and they are statistically combined with everyone else’s data into lot-level summaries that do not identify any individual. These aggregated summaries are retained.
  • Diagnostic and security logs required for fraud prevention or legal compliance, retained for the minimum period required.
